Program Educational Objectives:-
  1. To prepare competent engineers suitable for industry and higher education.
    Graduating engineers of the Department will have adequate competencies to succeed in industry/technical profession or to compete and excel in post graduate programs.

  2. To acquire the necessary foundation in fundamental subjects for development of mathematical and analytical abilities.
    Students will have a sound knowledge in science, mathematics and engineering fundamentals.

  3. To enhance the knowledge and to apply the acquired skills for problem solving to arrive at appropriate technological solutions.
    Students will be trained to acquire, comprehend, analyze and apply the acquired knowledge and skills to provide technological solutions.

  4. To develop professional and ethical practices, multidisciplinary approach and soft skills for a successful engineering career.
    Graduating engineers will have professional and ethical attitude, necessary soft skills and multidisciplinary approach.

  5. To respond to growing demands of society through lifelong learning.
    Graduate will have developed lifelong learning skills and an ability to relate engineering issues to broader societal context.


Program Outcomes

Civil Engineering Graduate will exhibit :-
  1. An ability to apply knowledge of mathematics, science, and Civil engineering

  2. An ability to design and conduct experiments, as well as to analyze and interpret data

  3. An ability to design a Civil engineering system, component, or process to meet desired needs within realistic constraints such as economic, environmental, social, political, ethical, health and safety, manufacturability, and sustainability
