The department was established in the year 2002 with the sole objective of laying the foundation for the undergraduate courses offered by the Institute.

It is an amalgam of faculties from various disciplines like Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, Applied Physics & Applied Chemistry.

The department believes in not only creating academically oriented students but also shaping their personalities by exposing them to a variety of co-curricular & extra curricular activities by conducting study tours, Science exhibitions, debate competitions, and essay writing competitions etc.

The department consists of dedicated, motivated, devoted faculty with a passion for teaching. Faculty is committed to enrich the skills through continual higher education & research. Department has undertaken couple of research projects funded by BCUD, ISRO etc. The department conducts seminars, workshops, conferences for faculty advancement.

Engineering & Applied Science department plays a parental role for the budding engineers by offering Class Teacher scheme.

We are also sensitive towards the society & are keen in inculcating social values in students through active participation in ‘Samarth Bharat Abhiyan’.
