I. CISCO NETWORKING ACADEMY LAB:

Objectives:

• Skill Enhancement: To enhance the valuable networking and IT skills to students and faculties who are interested in expanding their IT knowledge or starting a career in the high- tech industry.
• Employability Growth: To gain the knowledge, practice the skills, and earn the certifications students need to get the job they want.
• Center for Innovation: VIIT Networking CoE aims to be a center for research and innovations in networking.
• Global Certifications: Comprehensive skills exam that measures each student’s ability to practically apply network, design, configuration and hardware connectivity techniques to LAN environments.

Activities Carried out

• Hands-on Training on Cisco Packet Tracer.
• Internship Opportunity for faculty and students.
• State of Art Networking Lab equipped with networking devices

II. RED HAT ACADEMY

Objectives:

• Make the students employable and for better job opportunity.
• Be a part of Live Projects on Trending Technology.
• Be a part of Open Source Community-create platform to portray ideas and skills in real time environment.
• Interviews-internships from Red Hat and other MNCs after certification.
• Learn the modern skills as per Employer’s Demand

Activities Carried out:

• RHCSA Training registered students- 27 in 2019-20
• RHCSA Training registered students- 21 in 2020-21

III. BUSINESS INTELLIGENCE

Objectives:

• To enhance learner (faculty-student) employability and make them more industry-ready by providing training and mentoring in Business Intelligence (BI) domain.
• To become a centre for the industry-institute joint alliance, by reinforcement of quality and capability of industry and academia.
• To make the industry more agile by providing more operational support in the domain of BI.
• To evolve as a centre for social innovation and development.
• To boost the entrepreneurial spirit by supporting ‘Make in India’, ‘Make for the world’, and ‘Resilient India’ mission

Activities Carried out

• Hands-on Training on Business Analytics (BA) and Business Intelligence (BI).
• Internship opportunities for students and industrial training for faculty.
• Setup of state-of-the-art BI Lab using the best in advanced tools in BI technologies.

IV. ICT ACADEMY

In collaboration with Honeywell and ICT academy program, we have established COE to skill the graduating final year women students. Major focus while selecting the girls is on students from the rural and low-income family groups, building their socio-economic levels and prepare women for employment.

Objectives:

• Establishing Centre of Excellence (COE) under the CSR initiative of Honeywell.
• skilling @100 Women Students in Advanced Technology, in demand in the industry.
• For graduating final year students on Advanced IT Skills and providing them an opportunity for internship program.
• Hands on training for future Placement facilitation for students.
• Provide Global Certifications to the women students on advanced technology

• “Future Ready Talent” Program Orientation Session.
• “Session on Tech Skills Workshop”.
• 100 hours Data analytics program for Microsoft certification using Power BI
