The Department of Computer Engineering ensures to use of critical talent and intellectual resources from within and outside the Institute to strengthen, enhance, and improve the quality of the teaching-learning process. The department invites experts, professionals, and researchers from diverse fields to participate in the teaching-learning process to make our students and faculty contribute to emerging areas of the higher education system. It also helps in improving the employability prospects of the graduates and the quantum of qualitative research. 

With this view, the department offers industry-relevant courses such as Quantum Computing and Business Intelligence for the students from the industry experts. These courses are aimed at skill development and up-gradation to meet the current and emerging economic and industrial needs. These courses conducted by industry experts as adjunct faculty make their active involvement in governance, curriculum development, delivery of a course, and assessment of learners. 

The Adjunct faculty from the industry actively conduct theory and practical classes. They assess the students in their course throughout the semester by continuous internal evaluation (CIE), skills and competency examination (SCE), in-semester examination (ISE), and end-semester examination (ESE). At the end of the semester, all adjunct faculty/industry experts submit students’ assessment/evaluation sheets for CIE, SCE, ISE, and ESE to the concerned department authority. The department also takes feedback from the students about teaching and the availability of adjunct faculty. The continuation of the adjunct faculty for the next tenure is based on students’ feedback. In the coming years, the department is planning toinvolve more intellectual resources from professionals and industry experts as adjunct faculty for the third and final year B.Tech. students. It helps the department for better industry-institute interaction that assists in getting industry projects, industry internships, etc.
